The location of posting is Bangalore.

Mercedes-Benz R&D India Pvt. Ltd. (MBRDI) is a 100% captive unit of Daimler AG. Education Qualification : Degree / PG in Mechanical / Automotive engineering

Relevant Experience Required:
* 4-10 years of domain experience in design of chassis frame design & chassis frame attachments
* Experience in CATIA V5 : GSD, Part Design, Sketcher, assembly Design, Sheet-metal Design, Drafting, DMU
* OEM experience required
* Good vehicle Engineering Design and Vehicle Packaging Experience. Experience in design for manufacture & design for assembly
* Strong sheet metal manufacturing design experience
* Strong mechanical engineering background with design calculations capability
o Good knowledge on GD & T usage
o Knowledge in Vehicle products and Specifications
o Understand field issues and design countermeasures
o Strong understanding of component virtual and physical validation

Job Responsibilities:
* Chassis frame design, Fuel tanks, Protection devices packaging at vehicle level.
* Concept feasibility studies
* Design for manufacture & assembly
* Conversant with manufacturing techniques of sheet metal forming & welding
